The role of the Sales Manager will be managing a partnerships team. You will not be securing partnerships yourself but it will be pure people management. The current team is 7 but they are looking to expand it to 14.
Your role will be keeping the team happy, ensuring they are hitting KPIs (100 sign ups a week) and carrying out sales strategy. The team are fairly junior and will be first or second jobbers so they will need a fair amount of support. Many will never have done sales before as they are from marketing backgrounds.
There are 2 team leads to support you with the management of the team.
The Successful Applicant
The successful Sales Manager will be enthusiastic and hands on. Able to motivate a junior high potential team. Ideally they have worked in a well known company before and are used to working in a fast paced environment.
You need to be a strong line manager and have an understanding of B2C partnerships within the technology, student, events, lifestyle industry
Academics are important to them so you will ideally be a graduate from a top university
