Overview

Training & coaching - ensure that staff are able to use ICT systems to their potential. Design and implement information management processes and procedures, to disseminate systems knowledge and encourage best practice adoption in teams. Improve and update information systems (centralised systems/training databases) including public and internal websites, portals, training systems, file and document repositories. Provide administrative support to the data protection officer and assist with information security process definition and adoption, security audits, ISMS administration, and handling of security and data protection queries under guidance from the data protection officer.

A leading and prestigious organisation looking for an IT Training Coordinator based in Cape Town

Job Description
The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, organising, leading and delivering IT Training to organisational employees.

Key responsibilities:

Training & coaching – ensure that staff are able to use ICT systems to their potential.
Design and implement information management processes and procedures, to disseminate systems knowledge and encourage best practice adoption in teams.
Improve and update information systems (centralised systems/training databases) including public and internal websites, portals, training systems, file and document repositories.
Provide administrative support to the data protection officer and assist with information security process definition and adoption, security audits, ISMS administration, and handling of security and data protection queries under guidance from the data protection officer.
Encourage users to embrace the use of new and existing systems.
Champion adoption of systems
Working closely with users to increase their proficiency
Identify, define and prioritise multiple training and coaching requirements
Develops, collates and maintains training systems, materials, resources etc
Reports on the progress and status of all training activities and on the impact of training in the organisation.
Develop training materials and programmes for systems and processes
Oversees the flow, storage, sharing and successful use of files, forms and other digital information
Prepares and maintain documentation including procedures, system specifications, technical documentation, knowledge base articles, and user manuals
Audits systems, processes and policies to ensure compliance with information security standards.
Provides an information security administration function, managing and maintaining documentation
The successful candidate

2+ years of experience in an ICT training/tutoring/teaching role
Experience of SharePoint or a similar solution.
Strong organisational skills
Sound working knowledge of ICT, specifically software solutions.
Experience using websites, portals and similar technologies to deliver services and interactivity
Ability to develop and present written or verbal information in a clear and concise manner
Experience providing training, coaching, guidance and knowledge support to users of all ICT literacy levels in one-to-one or group settings.
Experience in the use and support of CMS systems
Experience of working with SharePoint or MS SharePoint qualification
Experience of business analysis/Project Management – desirable
