About Our Client
Client is a well known organisation based in Cape Town CBD

Job Description:

– Giving first line support to IT users of throughout the organisation

– Assessing the running of the service desk and looking at any inefficiencies, looking at how to tackle them

– Helping and working with the team, as part of the service desk and helping new starters

– Escalating anything outside remit of 1st line to 2nd line

The Successful Applicant
Candidate must have:

– A good demeanour on the phone and in person

– Be a team player

– Have worked on a service desk before in the capacity as a 1st line, preferably 2 years experience

– Proactive thinking in dealing with customers

– Customer service experience and can demonstrate this

– ITIL qualification, desirable, not essential

– Understanding of IT and basics
